Fees are due and payable on the date invoiced. An online payment portal link will be provided in your digital invoice. Your digital invoice will be transmitted to an email address you provide.
A General Consultant Fee is negotiable - and will be specified in your General Consultant Contract. Refer to the paragraph in your contract labeled "General Consultant Fee". A link will be provided on your Invoice for Services.

A Project Proposal presents a description of deliverables relevant to your project - with a controlled time table for completing your project. It will be developed using the data provided and in keeping with agreements made during your initial consultation. A project will usually comprise a Teaser, Lift Note, (maybe a Buckslip), the main Control Letter, and an Order Device designed for a direct response mail campaign. These control devices may also be designed for email or other media formats if these were discussed during the initial consult. If so, look for an additional charge for the Control Package. It will usually also include an estimate to complete market research including a competitor analysis as well as a time line projection for completing research, target market recommendations, interviews where called for, creatives, strategies, premiums, bonus offers, Call to Action, and recommendations for tracking performance of the Control letter. Project Proposals generally take five to ten business days to complete.
Changes to the Proposal. If you need to make some changes, you send it back to me with your requested amendments. I will get it back to you within 3-5 business days for final approval.
Additional Changes = Additional Charge. Any revisions to the Project Proposal once it has been approved will incurr a separate $500 dollar charge for time and trouble.

A Control Package Proposal is the first draft of Control Package deliverable. Time to complete this draft package varies depending on the scope and complexity of work involved. Refer to your Project Proposal Contract for actual time lines we agreed upon. You make final changes and sign the amended draft proposal. Copywriter retains ownership of the signed amended draft document. (Changes to scope after this will require a new contract.)

Copywriter will make final changes and deliver the final Copy Control Package according to agreed timelines and terms specified in your Project Proposal. Copy Control Package Ownership conveys to you with the receipt for your final payment of balance due. See payment button below. Depending on the complexity and scope of your project, your control package may cost more. This will have been previously negotiated. There will be no surprise. The actual charge will be invoiced with the final deliverable.
Copy Control Package project contracts may include a provision for payment of royalties to the Copywriter. See your contract for details. This royalty may be paid quarterly or annually. A standard royalty agreement is three percent (3%) of gross sales derived from marketing campaigns that use any portion of the Control Package I delivered to you. Royalties are due without invoice. If a royalty payment clause is included in your contract, you agree to provide Copywriter a Quarterly Report on Gross Sales derived from each specfied Copy Control device. In most cases, royalty payments extend in perpetuity to Copywriter heirs.
